Native banner

Alert

This format is only available for sites that have more than 150 million viewable impressions per month.

A native banner is a text and image ad format that flexibly adapts to the site design.

You can pick and choose the elements to use in your ad, such as the title, body text, and image. Some elements are required by the advertising law and the terms of the Yandex Advertising Network. Other elements are optional: you can use them to make the ad blend in seamlessly with your site's design and increase the unit conversion rate.

How to add a native banner

Alert

By using units with a native banner, you accept the risks outlined in the Yandex Advertising Network Terms of Offer. Before you start configuring your ads, review the current legislation, including the requirements for mandatory ad elements and their size.

Add a native banner when editing or creating a unit:

  1. In the format settings, select Configure the formats.

  2. Click + Add Format and select Native banner.

You can customize the HTML and CSS settings to help your ad blend in with your site's page. To do this, click Edit code in the native banner settings. To learn how to set up a native banner and how to use ad elements correctly, see the following sections:

Note

We recommend using a preset ad unit template if you don't have any experience with HTML and CSS. In the format settings, select the appropriate template in the Design template field and specify the grid size. After that, click Edit code and add the CSS styles used on your site.
