Rules for displaying native ad units on websites

You need an invitation from a Yandex manager to access native advertising.

Native RTB units can be displayed on websites in strict compliance with the rules and restrictions described in this section.

General rules for the placement of native units

  1. All mandatory unit elements must be included.
  2. The placement of any elements (mandatory and additional) is subject to all rules and restrictions specified in the Rules for using individual elements section.
  3. The ad unit should not be fully clickable. Only those unit elements can be clickable for which there is a respective specification in the Rules for using individual elements section.
  4. All unit elements should be visible and easily discernible to users. The background image should not interfere with seeing text information, tags and alerts.
  5. No modifications are possible in links to any elements (link to the advertiser website, sitelinks and others).
  6. If an ad unit is on a single screen, it should not be reloaded more often than once every 30 seconds.
  7. Clicking on the ad unit must not be the only possible action on the page. It is not allowed to artificially reproduce impressions, clicks, calls and settings manually or using any automatic methods (for more information, see the Terms of Participation).

Age labels and other warnings (details)

Changes are not allowed in warning texts. Text warnings should not occupy less than 10% of the ad area (in accordance with the Federal Law “On Advertising”).

Ad unit title (up to 33 characters, including spaces and punctuation marks)

The title must be clickable. The title text should not be cut off and must be shown in full.

Ad unit text (up to 75 characters, including spaces and punctuation marks)

Text may not be modified, including the case. The title text should not be cut off and must be shown in full.

Advertiser website domain

The domain must be clickable. The domain text cannot be modified or truncated.

“Сall to action” button

The call to action button must be clickable. You cannot modify the button text.

Images must be clickable. The image cannot be enlarged or cropped, but it can be reduced without changing the proportions.

Advertiser website icon, size: 16×16 pixels

The icon must be clickable. The icon size and proportions cannot be modified.

Mobile app icon

The app icon must be clickable. The icon should not be enlarged or cropped, but it can be reduced without changing the proportions.

App rating in the app store and number of ratings

Changes cannot be made to the rating or the number of ratings.

Mobile app price in the app store

The price cannot be changed.
