Ads in the unit above the header

Attention. You can only place the Yandex Advertising Network units above the header.

The unit above the header is an adaptive banner at the top of the page that occupies 100% of the width and 70 pixels of the height.

If you enable the unit above the header and the automatic recommendation feed, the ad is displayed before each new page of the feed.

Follow these steps to enable this type of ad:

Step 1. Creating an ad unit

To create an ad unit:

Go to Ads on websites → RTB units and click Add RTB unit.
In the second step of creating an RTB unit, select Turbo pages for mobile and click Continue.
In the third step, select the Standard design.
Select Position → Above the header.
Select Adaptive and click Save design.
Set up a display ad: disable all the display formats and enable 320×50. If you select a different format, like 320×100 or 100%×90, the ad won't fit into the container.
Set up the strategy and click Create. Learn more about strategy types.
Copy the ID of the created unit and use it when enabling ads in Yandex Webmaster settings. The ID has the format R‑A‑123456‑7.

You can place a unit above the header either automatically or manually:

In Yandex Webmaster, go to Turbo pages → Settings → Ads.
In the Ad unit above the header section, enter the unit ID in the Yandex Advertising Network field and click Save.
Check the ad display on the sample Turbo page.

In the case of manual placement, a unit above the header will only be displayed on pages that have the main ad units that were placed manually.

In Yandex Webmaster, go to Turbo pages → Settings → Ads.
In Manual setting → Ad unit above the header, specify the unit ID in the Yandex Advertising Network field and click Save.
Check the ad display on the sample Turbo page.
