Generating neurodesign for ad units
Neurodesign is a feature that lets you generate ad unit design based on the page structure, site style, and your current display settings. With this feature, you can quickly generate a banner that will perfectly blend with your site's interface, with no need to hire a professional designer.
How to generate a neurodesign
You can create neurodesigns for all supported ad formats via the ad unit editing form. Use the chat with the AI assistant to generate, preview, and refine your ad unit design whenever you like.
Find the ad unit that supports neurodesign. Such ad units are marked with the
To generate a neurodesign:
-
Select the ad unit and click Edit.
-
Scroll down to Format settings.
-
Select Neurodesign → Generate.
You'll see the generated design in the chat. To apply the created design to your ad unit, click Start.
When neurodesign is available
You can generate neurodesigns only for active ad units that get 1000 impressions or more in one day at least once a week. This ensures the system uses only relevant data on audience behavior, ad unit placements, and page design.
If the ad unit remains inactive for too long, this feature may become unavailable. In this case, the AI assistant will inform you that there isn't sufficient data. Any previously generated neurodesigns that were applied to ad units will remain active until you disable them.
When neurodesign isn't available:
-
The ad unit is archived or hasn't been served yet.
-
You've selected a non-banner ad unit type.
Neurodesign components
Neurodesign creates banner visuals:
-
Banner template.
-
Background, contrast, accents.
-
Font size.
-
Banner style and position.
-
Ensures that all mandatory attributes are correctly displayed: age restriction label, advertising marker, and others.
This won't affect the ad unit's type and format, operational logic, how ads are selected, and other settings.
How to refine a neurodesign
If the suggested design isn't what you need, describe what you'd like to see in your own words. The AI assistant will update the design based on your feedback. You don't need any special commands — just specify what you'd like to change.
What you can change
You can change the following elements:
-
Button: color, size, rounding, shadow, hover effects.
-
Title and description: color, size, boldness, effects.
-
Image: position, rounding, border.
-
Price, domain, header: color, size, display.
-
Promo: size, display.
-
Links: quantity, color, format, position, orientation.
-
Paddings and margins: outer, inner, inter-unit.
-
Layout: vertical, horizontal, element movement.
-
Banner background and border: color, rounding, transparency.
Note
If you mention only one parameter, the system will change it, leaving other parameters unchanged.
How to create effective prompts
-
Write a simple and clear prompt as if you're telling your request to a designer.
-
You can enter your edits as a list or specify multiple changes in a single message.
-
Clarify what you like and what you want to change.
-
If you're unsure about the terms, describe the effect instead: “too dark”, “want it brighter”, “make it simpler”, “more air“.
Prompt examples
Examples of basic prompts
-
Make the button blue with white text. -
Make the title larger and bolder. -
Move the image to the right, keep the button at the bottom. -
Add the price after the description. -
Remove the header. -
Increase the margins between ad units. -
Round the banner corners by 16 px. -
Set the banner background to light gray #F5F5F5.
Examples of more complex yet clear prompts
-
Image on the left, text on the right, full-width button at the bottom. -
White background rounded by 12 px, more space around the text. -
Add a promo without an icon and make it larger. -
Make the description larger, the title darker, and links blue.
Tip
-
If the prompt sounds vague (for example, “make it better”, “too bright”), the system will choose a logical option, but the result may differ from your expectations. We recommend specifying what exactly needs to be fixed.
-
If you want to make a lot of changes, introduce them in steps — this makes it easier to control the outcome.
-
If you like the banner, you can add it to the auction directly from the chat. To do this, click Start.
How long generation takes
The design is typically ready in a few minutes, though it may take up to a few hours in some cases. The speed depends on ad unit activity, page availability, and service load.
Potential generation errors
If generation doesn't start immediately or something goes wrong, please try again later.
