# Traffic management strategies

To select a strategy:

1. Go to **Video ads** → **InStream video units**.
1. Select the ad unit from the list and click **Edit**.
1. Go to **Strategies**:

    - The **Maximum revenue** strategy uses all your available traffic and doesn't require any manual management. Our system uses automated algorithms to dynamically fill your ad units, ensuring you generate the highest possible revenue from your site.

    - The **Minimum CPM floor** strategy helps set the starting price for RTB advertising on the platform. If the auction bids are higher than this floor, banners from Yandex RTB are displayed. If the bids are lower, you will see your own ad, the code of which you specified in the corresponding field.

      Specify the starting price for 1000 impressions in rubles, without VAT, in the **Minimum CPM floor** field. The actual CPM and your revenue may be higher than the specified floor — you regulate the price for entry, but you are not limiting advertisers' maximum bids.

    - The **Separate CPM** strategy lets you limit the number of impressions for Yandex Direct video ads (up to 15 seconds) and display videos (up to 60 seconds). You can set up CPM floors or completely block any type of ads. If you do neither of those things, a zero floor is automatically applied.
