# Ad moderation

All ads that are placed on partner platforms undergo moderation to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and [Yandex advertising requirements](https://yandex.ru/legal/adv_rules/index.html).

## Moderating ad subjects {#how-moderate}


Yandex moderates both advertising materials and the redirect page that an ad click leads to.

A creative or banner must contain all the information required by applicable legislation and Yandex rules, including warnings and age restrictions. Detailed requirements for the advertiser's resource and ad design are described in [Yandex Direct Help](https://yandex.com/support/direct/moderation/ad-rules.html?lang=en).


[Adult ads](https://yandex.com/support/direct/moderation/categories/unfamily.html?lang=en#unfamily) can only be shown on [search sites](https://yandex.com/support/partner/en/web/search-ad.md) in response to a relevant query. If you want to restrict adult content, go to your site settings and enable the [family filter](https://yandex.com/support/partner/en/web/search-ad.md#family-filter).

On [sites](https://yandex.com/support/partner/en/web/adplatform.md), the display of adult ads is restricted automatically.


## Report an ad {#how-complain}

If you see an ad on your resource that violates applicable legislation or Yandex advertising requirements, send a screenshot of the page and the link to that banner to [support](https://yandex.com/support/partner/en/support.md).

To get the link:

1. Right-click on the ad title.
1. Select **Copy link address**. You should get a link like `https://an.yandex.ru/count/....`.
