Voice guidance

Voice guidance is Yandex.Navigator's prompts about upcoming turns on your route, warnings about cameras and road events.

Prompt language

To set the language:

  1. Tap .
  2. Go to Settings → Advanced settings → Sounds and alerts → Language.

  3. Select your prompt Language:

    • English
    • Russian
    • Ukrainian
    • Turkish
    • French
    • The default language is the language of the country you are in, such as Turkish in Turkey.
      Note. If the app does not support the language of that country, voice guidance will be in English.

Speaker's voice

  1. Tap .
  2. Go to Settings → Advanced settings → Sounds and alerts → Voice.
  3. Choose the voice of the speaker.
