Tap Go! to activate step-by-step navigation.
The program displays the following route components:
The current route segment.
To see the entire route, tap the bottom of the screen, and then tap Browse in the panel that appears.
To return to the current segment, tap the lower part of the screen and then tap Map .
The following icons display along key route points:
— current location of your car as it moves along the route
— starting point
— mid point of the whole route as well as midpoints of route segments connecting intermediary points. These points can be dragged to new locations and the route will be reset in accordance with their new positions.
distance to destination and estimated time of arrival
traffic on route
upcoming directions — type of upcoming direction and remaining distance
your speed limit for route segment (tap the icon to change this value):
To turn on/off or adjust voice prompt settings:
Tap on the lower part of the screen.
Tap Menu .
Go to Settings → Sound.
To turn voice guidance off, disable the Voice guidance option.
Select your prompt Language:
default — the default language will correspond to your current location. For example, Turkish will be set if you are in Turkey.
If the program doesn't support your local language (for example, Finnish in Finland), then voice guidance will be in English.
To choose whether you'd like your voice prompts to be read in a male or female voice, go to the Speaker option and select the male or female name (for English, only a female voice is available currently). For example, for Russian, select either Speaker → Oxana or Speaker → Dmitry.
To set up voice-activated control in the program so you can use voice commands while navigating, enable the Voice activation option.
To configure warnings when there are speed cameras present or when you are exceeding the limit, enable the Warn about speeding option.
To specify the number of km/hr that you can exceed the speed limit by before the app warns you, go to the Warnings → Speed limit settings section.
In the window that opens, move the slider to the appropriate position, setting the number of km/hr that your current speed can exceed the limit that cameras track.
Yandex.Navigator will warn you about speed cameras if you are exceeding the speed limit by more than the amount that you set.

To change your route, you can set intermediary points along the way.
Additionally, if the app receives information about traffic changes and there is a better route option, then a Quicker route available message will appear in the panel. Tap it to re-route.
