Visual tracking

The program displays the following route components:

  • The current route segment.

To see the entire route, tap the bottom of the screen, and then tap Browse in the panel that appears.

To return to the current segment, tap the lower part of the screen and then tap Map .

The following icons display along key route points:

    • — current location of your car as it moves along the route

    • — starting point

    • intermediary point

    • — mid point of the whole route as well as midpoints of route segments connecting intermediary points. These points can be dragged to new locations and the route will be reset in accordance with their new positions.

    • — destination

  • Route parameters:

    • distance to destination and estimated time of arrival

    • traffic on route

    • upcoming directions — type of upcoming direction and remaining distance

    • your speed limit for route segment (tap the icon to change this value):

  • Number of lanes: displays in a pop-up tool tip that shows your location. Lanes that you can take on your route are colored white against a black background and those you can't are colored gray.

This tool tip on the drawing means that at that point on your route, you should stay in the two left lanes that are highlighted

    Attention.

If the North is always up setting is enabled (see the Appearance section), then the number of lanes is not displayed while en route.

In the current version of the program, lanes are displayed for several major cities, difficult turns and intersections, and for straight stretches of the route when the driver needs to stay in certain lanes.

Lane designations may include reference symbols/icons:

    • ─ public transport lane.

If driving in this lane is permitted in the driver's current situation (for example, to make a right turn from the rightmost lane), then an arrow will point out the recommended maneuver (in white):

If using that lane for the current route segment is not recommended, then a grayed-out arrow will display with the icon.

    • ─ tram tracks.

If the arrow displays with a white T icon, it means that cars can use the tram lane.

If the arrow is gray or there is no arrow (i.e. there is just a T icon), it means that driving on the tram track is not recommended.

    • ─ taxi lane (when there are lanes).

    • ─ bike lane; driving in this lane is forbidden and the icon informs the driver of that.
