Road events

Road events are points on the map that correspond to reported events. For example, an accident is represented as .

Road events can also include user-added text messages (Conversations), which are represented as .

Attention! 

All user information is removed from messages concerning road events. In other words, such messages don't contain any identifying information about the user or his car.

To see and add road events, follow these instructions:

  1. Tap on the lower part of the screen to bring up the toolbar.

  2. Tap Menu.

  3. Select Road events .

  4. Choose a type of road event.

To add a road event to the map:

  1. Tap Add road event .

  2. Fill out the Event form:

    1. Choose the type of event:

      • — accident.
      • — road work.
      • — speed camera.
      • — other.
      • — road blocked.
      • — bridge up.
      • — “conversations”.
    2. If you add an “Accident” or “Road work” event type, then select the traffic lane affected by the event (i.e. left, middle, or right) in the Choose lane field.
    3. In the Your comments field, enter whatever additional information you have about the event.

  3. Tap Set.

    The event will be added to the map. To see comments, tap on the event icon.
