Types and prices of subscriptions

Your subscription is linked to your account and covers both the web version of the service and the Yandex.Music app on your various devices.

You can buy a Yandex.Music subscription for a month or a year.

The cost of the subscription depends on where you buy it: in the web version or on the app. When you pay for a subscription using the app, part of the money is the store's commission. That's why subscribing in the app costs more than subscribing through the web version of Yandex.Music.

You can pay for a subscription on the website using a bank card or Yandex.Money.

Purchase a subscription

  1. Go to the https://music.yandex.com/payment page.
  2. Click Purchase subscription and select the subscription period (month or year). For long-term use, it is better to select an annual subscription — it's cheaper than paying for a subscription month by month.
  3. Select a payment method:
    • Bank card — enter your card information and click Subscribe.
    • Yandex.Money — click Get password and follow the instructions.

Usually payments are received within 15-20 minutes. After the payment is received, you will get a receipt via email.We recommend saving your receipts even though you can still see your payment methods and transaction history on the Subscription tab in your settings if you delete them.

If you haven't subscribed before, you get the first month for free. After that, your subscription will continue automatically: every month or year, the price for the following month or year will be deducted from your account. You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time.
Note. You can also pay for your subscription using a Yandex.Music gift code.
To find out the status of your subscription:
  1. Go to the My music page and click Settings.
  2. On the settings page, go to the Subscription tab.

Link a different card to pay for a subscription

If you previously paid for your subscription using one bank card and now want to pay using a different one, cancel your current subscription and re-subscribe to Yandex.Music. Then pay for the subscription using your new bank card.

When the subscription period that you paid for with your old bank card ends, the period that you will pay for using your new card will begin. In the future, your new card will be used to renew your subscription.

Change the payment period or method

You can pay for a Yandex.Music subscription for a month or year using the website, app, or on the App Store, Google Play, or the Microsoft Store. Your subscription will renew automatically: in a month or year, the price for the following month or year will be deducted from your account.

To change your subscription period or payment method:
  1. Cancel your current subscription.
  2. Wait until the period has ended.
  3. Select a different period or payment method.
  4. Pay for a new subscription.
Примечание. If you paid for a new subscription before the the previous one expired, the remaining days will be added to the end of your new subscription period.
Example
Your monthly subscription ends on November 25. You cancelled it and paid for a new one on November 15 (ten days before your previous subscription ended). Your subscription will automatically continue through December 15. When you cancel your current subscription, all the app functions will continue to be available to you for another ten days.

I was charged twice

If you accidentally used two different payment methods to pay twice for a subscription using the same account, contact customer support. Add a screenshot of your bank statement that shows the following information:
  • A portion of your card number — the first 6 and last 4 digits
  • The payment date
  • The recipient of the payment — Yandex.Music

What should I do if I paid for a subscription and it doesn't work

Make sure that you are logged in to the same account that you bought a subscription using. If you don't remember your username or password for that account, use the recommendations in the Troubleshooting section of Yandex.Passport Help.

If you subscribed using the mobile app, follow the recommendation found in the mobile version of Yandex.Music Help.

If you are using the correct account, try logging out of it and logging in again. If this doesn't help, write to customer support. We will check to make sure that the service has not been provided and restore your subscription for the paid period.
