Monetization

Note. Reports are in beta mode.

Owners of sites in the Yandex Advertising Network can use the “Monetization” group of reports for in-depth analysis of advertising impact to increase revenue. For example, you can identify the most profitable traffic sources — down to the search query — and analyze the performance of each site section separately, as well as track the average revenue per user.

Attention. The revenue data shown in Yandex.Metrica may differ from the data in the Yandex Advertising Network interface by up to 10%.

Metrics available in reports

ARPU (Average revenue per user) — The average revenue per site user.

eCPM (Effective cost per mille) — The cost of one thousand ad block renderings.

CPMV (Cost per mille viewable ads) — The cost of one thousand ad block impressions after checking for ad block visibility.

RPM (Revenue per mille) — The cost of one thousand requests for all blocks, including those that didn't have ads matched to them.

Requests — Requests for ad code sent to the Yandex RTB system, for instance.

Requests to the Yandex RTB system, for instance, that resulted in successfully selecting ads to serve (there were ads or banners over the CPM threshold).

Ad overload — Average number of ad renderings per site user during the report period.

Impressions — When an ad block, ad, or banner on a site page is shown to a site user. In the Yandex Advertising Network, the viewability of ad blocks is checked when registering ad impressions.

Estimated revenue — The estimated cost of ad impressions in the selected report period. This metric does not include revenue from ad impressions and may differ from your total monthly revenue, for instance.

Visibility percentage — Ratio of the number of impressions to the number of renderings.
