Jivo goals
If you use the Jivo chat on your site, you can use automatic goals to track and analyze chat statistics in Yandex.Metrica reports.
How it works
For Yandex.Metrica to start collecting Jivo auto-goal data, the option Automatic goals must be enabled in the tag settings.
No other Yandex Metrica or chat settings are required. Jivo detects a tag and its number on your site and transmits data to it. Learn more about collecting data in the Jivo documentation.
Jivo chat goals are automatically created to track the events listed in the table.
Goal name in the interface |
Event ID |
Event description |
Jivo auto-goal: customer opened chat |
|
Chat started from the customer side. Occurs when a customer sends a message in the chat, in cases where an active invitation was not previously shown. |
Jivo auto-goal: auto-invite to chat |
|
The customer accepted the active invitation by writing a message in response. This is also triggered when the chat button is tapped in the mobile version if an active invitation was triggered earlier. |
Jivo auto-goal: manual invitation to chat |
|
The operator manually started a dialog with the client using the Users function, and the user responded by sending a message to the chat. |
Jivo auto-goal: offline message |
|
The customer sent an offline message. |
You can manage automatic Jivo goals just like other automatic goals: edit and delete.
If you need to track other Jivo events in Yandex Metrica, add them manually.
Where to view statistics
To view statistics on goals, use the Conversions report. Data will appear in the report when Yandex Metrica registers at least one event. You can also add goals to other Yandex Metrica reports to track user behavior.
Restrictions
-
Automatic goals are not counted in the total number of tag goals.
-
This type of goal can’t be used in Multi-step goals.
-
No automatic goal will be created if the tag already has a goal with exactly the same condition.
-
The service registers a user reaching the same goal on the same counter no more than once per second.
-
During a single user session, the service can register up to 1000 offline conversions and 400 online conversions created for the tag.
-
If you edit the tag or a goal, all the previously collected information does not change.
-
If you delete a goal, information collected for it is no longer available in reports.
