Favorite goals
Favorite goals is a feature that allows you to highlight and track your website’s key goals. You can select goals important to your business by marking them as favorite, after which statistics for these goals will be automatically displayed in Yandex Metrica reports. This simplifies traffic effectiveness analysis and saves time by avoiding the need to manually analyze each goal.

- New comprehensive metrics that include overall conversion, number of conversions, and total revenue. This eliminates the need to analyze each goal separately and sum up their indicators.

- Indicators of favorite goals will be automatically integrated into analytical reports. This saves you from the need to repeatedly select goals in the selector or save reports with separate metrics for the goals you are interested in.
Flexible customization
- You can add or remove goals from the list of favorites and update reports according to your business’s changing priorities whenever you want.
Finding correlations between actions on the site
- You will see how small action-goals (micro-conversions) help you achieve the larger goals you have selected as favorites. Select the goal of interest in the standard goal selector of the report and see how it correlates with the favorites.
How to use favorite goals
Selecting goals
- To add goals to favorites, go to the Goals section and mark the desired goals with stars.
You can also do this on the goal settings page using the Favorite goal option.
Viewing in reports
- Summarized statistics for favorite goals will automatically appear in Yandex Metrica reports. You will see three new columns with indicators: Conversions for favorite goals, Revenue across favorite goals, and Conversion rate across favorite goals.
The button next to the metrics will show the number of favorite goals. Clicking the button will open a window with a list of these goals.
Additional metrics

In addition to the 3 standard metrics, you can use additional metrics for favorite goals. They are available in the Metrics → Behavior → Conversions across favorite goals tab.

- Goal conversion — Share of converted sessions with favorite goals.
- Conversions for favorite goals — Number of achieved favorite goals in sessions.
- Sessions with favorite goals.
- Revenue across favorite goals — Summed across all favorite goals.

- Conversion rate across favorite goals — Share of users who have achieved favorite goals out of the total number of unique users.
- Conversions for favorite goals per user.
- Average revenue per session across favorite goals.

Can I change the list of favorite goals?
Yes, you can add new goals or remove existing ones from the list of favorites at any time.
Will any goals be selected automatically?
If your tag has e-commerce set up, the Ecommerce: purchase goal will automatically be included in the list of favorites. You can customize this list as you see fit.
Which reports support the favorite goals feature?
This feature is available in all standard session reports, allowing you to integrate data on favorite goals for convenient analysis.
What happens if a multi-step goal is marked as favorite?
In this case, the metrics for favorite goals will include the full conversions for the selected multi-step goals (only those conversions where all goal steps have been completed).
