# "Share" button report

This report shows how your content is shared by users on social networks. If the site already has the **Share** button, this report automatically appears in site statistics.

To view the report, go to **Reports** → **Content** → **"Share" button**.

## Ways to use this report {#case}

You can use the report to find out how many times and where a user shared a page from a website, as well as to determine the most popular pages.

## Report structure and settings {#data}

Report data is grouped by the name of the social network that the **Share** button led to, with granularity down to the page where the button is installed.

Note that you can’t use goals in the report, and that there is a limited set of dimensions and metrics.
