No registration required upon entry
Registration upon entering the site can deter some users. Some may not want to disclose their personal data, while others may simply be too lazy to go through it. Registration filters out inexperienced, suspicious, and knowledgeable users about alternatives, and also delays the moment of active engagement on the site. Do not require visitors to register until they have made a decision and are ready to place an order. If possible, make registration optional.
If registration upon entering the site is important to you, reduce its form to a minimum. Ask for only the information you cannot do without: an email address (which also serves as a username) and a password for entry. Users can provide more detailed information about themselves in the “Personal Account”. If the necessity of any data is not obvious, briefly explain why you need it.
Note
The Session Parameters Yandex Metrica report will help determine the ratio of authorized to unauthorized users on your site and analyze differences in their behavior. The Exit Pages report shows the number of exits from the registration page.
