Deleting ad spending data

Yandex Direct data cannot be deleted.

You can delete uploaded data from Yandex Metrica in several ways:

By date and UTM tags/sources

Using a file

In Yandex Metrica, go to Settings -> Upload data tab.
In Advertising expenses, select Delete data.
Select the method By date and UTM tags/sources.
To delete all expense data, select a date or period. To delete data about a specific advertising source, select a date or period and fill in the necessary fields — TrafficSource, TrafficSourceDetail or UTMSource as the values were specified when uploading the data. Pay attention to the case in which the field values are specified.

Create a CSV file and enter the information you want to delete.

* The UTMSource field is required if the TrafficSource field is not specified.

Examples:

Deleting data about a specific advertising source for a specific period

For example, to delete data about an Instagram* ad campaign for the period from March 1 to March 15, fill in the file like this:

To delete all data for a certain period, only indicate the required dates in the Date field of the file:

In Yandex Metrica, go to Settings -> Upload data tab.
In Advertising expenses, select Delete data.
Choose the Using a file method.

Note

If you uploaded data from multiple services to Yandex.Metrica (Provider) and want to delete data only from some of them, use the API. If you delete information in the Yandex Metrica web interface, data from all providers will be deleted for the specified period.
