“Share” button report

This report shows how your content is shared by users on social networks. If the site already has the Share button installed, this report automatically appears in site statistics.



To view the report: Reports → Standard reports → Content → Share button.

Ways to use this report

You can use the report to find out how many times and where a user shared a page from a website, as well as to determine the most popular pages.



Report structure and settings

Report data is grouped by the name of the social network that the Share button led to, with granularity down to the page where the button is installed.

For information on how to configure the report depending on your business objectives, see Setting up a report.

Note that you can't use goals in the report, and that there is a limited set of dimensions and metrics.
