Spaces

If your company is registered in Yandex 360 for Business, you have two types of spaces available in Yandex Messenger:

• Personal for chatting with people outside your company.
• Work for communicating with other employees within the company. People who work in two organizations will have two separate workspaces.

  • If a company registered after July 1, 2022, a workspace is enabled by default. Switch to your organization's space.
  • A workspace may not be available to you if the company registered before July 1, 2022. In that case, can ask your admin to add it.

1. Press (or Settings in iOS).
2. Select the space in the Spaces section.

External users can't access the workspace:

• Only contacts from the Yandex 360 for Business address book are displayed.
• External users can't join chats, even by direct link.

Yandex Messenger has everything you need for work:

• Add individual employees, departments, or even whole groups to chats. All staff changes that are shown in Yandex 360 for Business are automatically displayed in your workspace.
• You can see an employee's department and workgroups in their profile.
• Users enjoy all Yandex Messenger features, such as communication in chats.

Contact support to add it. After submitting the request, all private and group chats between employees are transferred to the workspace. Chats with external users cannot be transfered. An admin can transfer them manually after deleting external users.

For security reasons, Yandex Messenger can't transfer a chat to a private space if there are external users in it. Transfer a chat manually:

1. Delete external users from the chat.
2. In the upper-right corner, press ( in iOS) and select Transfer chat.

My work chats have disappeared and I can't find my colleagues in the search

You may not have switched to the workspace. To switch to it:

1. Press (or Settings in iOS).
2. Select the space in the Spaces section.
