# Send a notification to my phone

If you create a route or find a place you need on Yandex Maps, you can send this information to your mobile device.

To do this, follow these steps:

- In the object card:

  
  1. Click ![](../_assets/btn_out_1.png).

      [Enter your phone number](https://yandex.com/support/id/authorization/phone.html) in Yandex ID. If you don't add a number to your account, you can't send notifications.

  1. Select **Send to phone**.
      
  1. If you are logged in to your Yandex Maps account in the web version and on your mobile device, the notification is sent immediately.
      
      If you use different accounts on your mobile device and in the web version, a menu will come up. In the menu, select whether you want to send the data by email or SMS.
      
      - By email.
      
      - By SMS.
      - By scanning a QR code.
      
  1. Tap the notification on your device. The Yandex Maps mobile app will open and display the item.
      
      If you don't have the app installed, you'll see the information in the browser.
      
  

- In the route card

  
  1. In the side menu, under all the route options, click **Send**.
