Requirements for panoramas
In order for panoramas taken by users to be published on Yandex.Maps, they must meet the following requirements:

General requirements
- A panorama can't include adult content, obscenities, or offensive words or images.

Panorama subjects

You can post panoramas of localities, landmarks, tourist attractions, and scenery.

You can post interior panoramas of public places (stores, hotels, museums, and so on).
Make sure that you get authorization to photograph these places from their owners or management team. -
You are not allowed to post panoramas of places where photography is prohibited by law or by the rules of the owner of the premises/territory (for example, you are not allowed to take pictures at military bases or restricted-access facilities).

You are not allowed to post panoramas of the interiors of private dwellings.

Photography conditions
- Panoramas are not published if they are taken:
- In low light.
- When it's raining or snowing.
- When there is snow cover (if there are panoramic views of this place not covered by snow).

Technical requirements for images

An image must be in a spherical (equidistant) projection.

Horizontal viewing angle: 360 degrees.

Vertical viewing angle: At least 120 degrees.

Aspect ratio: From 2:1 to 3:1 (the minimum resolution is 6000 x 2000 and the maximum resolution is 20000 x 10000).

The image file must be in JPEG format.

The maximum image file size is 100 MB.

The image must not have any solid color blocks at the top or bottom (if there are, crop your panorama).

For interior and street panoramas, the zenith is required (cropping is only allowed from the bottom).

For aerial panoramas, the nadir is required (cropping is only allowed from the top).

The image must be sharp, high-contrast, with no visible noise or grain, and with no significant overexposure and underexposure.

There must be no stitching defects like seams, incorrect verticals, or people and other objects cut off (except for images captured from a car).

The panorama cannot have blurred objects in the foreground (except for images captured from a car).

Photo retouching is not allowed, except for retouching of:
- Security cameras.
- The tripod and camera reflected in a mirror.
- Personal data.
- Vehicle license plates.
- People's faces. -
You're not allowed to publish simulated images.

Technical requirements for shipments
- The coordinates of panoramic points must be linked to the actual photo location as accurately as possible.
- The recommended interval between street panoramas is from 10 to 50 meters (if the main subject of your panorama is a relatively small object or an object with a large number of small details that are worth paying attention to, the interval may be even less).
- There must be a direct line of sight or a door (window) between linked panoramas.
Alert
- When multiple panoramas of the same location taken from approximately the same point are received from one or more users, only one of them is selected for publication.
- If a higher-quality panorama is already available for the location where the panorama was captured, the moderator reserves the right not to publish a similar panorama even if it is more up-to-date.
