:   In the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, as well as in the Yukon territory, U-turns are prohibited:

	- In urban areas between intersections.
	- At intersections controlled by traffic lights (except when signs or traffic lights explicitly allow this maneuver).
