To attach one or more files to a message:
If you have accidentally attached the wrong file, simply click Delete.
If the total size of your attachment is too large, the files will be automatically uploaded on your Yandex.Disk (see folder Mail attachments → Sent as links to Yandex.Disk).
You can also attach files or folders directly from Yandex.Disk:
The recipient will see download links for the attachments in your message. The download links to the attachments will only be available to users who participate in the conversation.
Many mail services reject attachments of more than 10 MB. If you are not sure that your recipient can receive an attachment of more than 10 MB, send it in segments (in several messages) or add the required files to your message through Yandex.Disk.
You can view certain types of attachments directly in Yandex.Mail without using additional applications. The following file types are supported:
Messages that contain attachments are marked with in the list of messages. To view a list of files attached to a specific message, simply left-click the icon.
To save a file to your computer for use with another program, click Download on the page when reading messages, next to the name of the file. If there are several files attached to the message, you will find a link called Download as a single archive next to the list of attachments. Click this link to save all attachments at once to your computer (as a ZIP archive).
To view a certain document or archive, select it and then click View. The file will open in a new browser window.
The attached images are displayed as thumbnails. To open an image in the view mode, simply left-click its thumbnail.
In the view mode, you can download or print the image, as well as display it in full size. To select another image for viewing, click show all.
To exit the view mode, click or press Esc.
To play a multimedia file, simply click the Play button next to it.
