You can schedule tasks and appointments directly on the Yandex.Mail page using the Tasks service. To start using it, open menu Settings Tasks, check Show tasks on mail pages, and save the changes.

List of tasks will be available in the lower right part of the page. Click on the icon to collapse the tasks list, and click in the area of the tasks list to expand it.

Creating and editing lists

By default, Tasks creates a Don’t forget list. To create a new list, enter its name in the text box and click Create list.

To edit the list, click on . You can rename or delete the list in edit mode.

Creating tasks

To create a task, go to the required list, enter a name for the task in the text box, and click Add task.

If you want to attach the task to a specific date and time then click the date link in the bottom right portion of the panel. In the Edit task window, specify the date and time when a reminder is needed for the current task or meeting.

The tasks that were scheduled for the current date are highlighted in pale orange and overdue tasks are highlighted in bright orange.

Editing tasks

To edit a task, click its name or the link on the right. You can change the task name and the date and time of the reminder in the Edit task window.

If you have completed the task, select it in the list by clicking the square icon to the left of its name. The completed task will be deleted from the list. To restore the original state of the completed task, uncheck the box next to its name in the Completed tasks list.

Sending task lists in messages

You can email task lists to your friends or colleagues. To do this, click on the icon next to the name of the list.

Type the recipient's email address in the Send the task list in a message window. Your address book will prompt the appropriate options in the form of tooltips.

You can send the list to multiple recipients simultaneously. To do this, enter multiple addresses separated by a comma and a space, for example, “,,”. The recipient will see the list in the form of an html message with an attachment in ICS format that can be read by many calendar applications.
