Fighting spam

Spam ends up in my mailbox

If you find any spam in your Inbox folder, please let us know:

  1. Tap in the upper part of the screen.
  2. Click This is Spam!

This will help our spam filters to work better for your mailbox. In certain cases you may need to mark several similar messages from the same sender. For details on how Yandex.Mail fights spam, refer to the Yandex.Mail help.

To mark multiple messages as spam:

  1. Select the appropriate messages. To select a message, tap the sender's image in the message row.
  2. Tap in the upper part of the screen.

All messages automatically moved to the Spam folder will be deleted within 10 days. If a message gets into Spam folder by mistake, tap Not spam!, and the new messages from this sender will automatically go to the Inbox.

Unsubscribe from a mailing list

Typically, each message from a mailing list must contain clear instructions on how to unsubscribe from it. In most cases, you can unsubscribe from a mailing list directly on the website or by contacting the website administrators.

Alternatively, you can blacklist the email addresses of unwanted mailing lists in the Yandex.Mail web interface.
