Change the profile picture

You can't change your profile picture in the Yandex.Mail iOS app yet. However, you can do this in a mobile browser:
  1. Upload an image from your phone or add a direct link to the image (for example, from a social network).

If you upload a new profile picture over an old one, the old picture is saved in Yandex ID. You can always roll back to it by deleting your latest picture.

Exclusive email address

If you're using a Premium plan, you can create an exclusive email address. It's easy to remember and nice to share. For example, you can have an address like or

So far, you can only get an exclusive email address in the .ru domain zone. You can't host an entire site on the domain, you can only add an email address.

Emails will be sent from the new address by default. You can log in to your mailbox with both addresses.

Create an exclusive email address
Restriction. You can only add one exclusive email address per user.
  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
  3. Select the account you want to create an exclusive email address for.
  4. Tap Exclusive @ address.
  5. Choose the email address you like or enter your own. Make sure that the address is available.
    Note. The chosen address must not contain words that are contrary to public interest or the principles of humanity and morality. This includes obscene language, inhumane statements, words that insult human dignity or religious sentiments, and any other demeaning language.
  6. Tap Create.
Disable an exclusive address
Attention. When the exclusive address is disabled, you can no longer use it to send and receive emails or log in to Yandex.Mail. The domain you chose can be used by other users.
  1. Pull the screen to the right.
  2. Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
  3. Select the account where you want to disable the exclusive email address.
  4. Select Exclusive @ address.
  5. Click Disable and confirm the action.

After that, emails will be sent by default from your main address in the domain.

You won't be able to re-enable your exclusive address for six months. If you want to add an exclusive address in the same domain, this domain needs to be available.

  5. Describe your problem in as much detail as possible.
Attention. If you'd like to report a problem with the mobile app, please use the feedback form in the app rather than the one in Help. This way your request will be received by the right support specialists and you will get a quicker response. Besides, when you send your request directly from the app, it lets the support specialists see some technical details that can help resolve the issue. If the app crashes unexpectedly and you can't use it to contact us, please send the error message via the feedback form.
