Change your signature
Pull the screen to the right.
Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
- Select the account where you want to change the signature.
- Enter the text of your signature in the Signature field.
Change the profile picture
Pull the screen to the right.
Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
- Select the account you want to change the profile picture for.
- Tap Upload image.
Set up the email list
Use conversation mode to organize your mailbox. It groups your emails by subject and sender and displays other emails in the thread on the email page.
To enable conversation mode:
Pull the screen to the right.
Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
Select the account where you want to enable conversation mode.
- Enable the Group by subject option.
To view the list of messages in a thread, tap the email row.
You can also resize the email list so that more emails fit on the screen. To enable compact mode:
Pull the screen to the right.
Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
- In the Application block, enable the Compact mode option.
Set up email forwarding and filters
You can forward emails from another mailbox and use filters for sorting emails only in the Yandex.Mail web interface.
Set up notifications and folder synchronization
You can configure push notifications and synchronization separately for each folder:
Pull the screen to the right.
Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
- Select the account where you want to receive notifications and synchronize selected folders.
- In the Notify of new messages field, select one of the following options for each folder:
- Sync and notify me — the folder syncs in the background and you receive new email notifications.
- Sync without notification — the folder syncs in the background and you don't receive new email notifications.
- Do not sync — the folder syncs only if you open it.Attention. When you disable email uploads, notifications are disabled as well. You can't disable email uploads and enable notifications at the same time.
This might be happening for one of the following reasons:
- Notifications are disabled in the app settings

Enable notifications:
Pull the screen to the right.
Tap Settings (under the list of folders and labels).
- Select the account where you want to receive notifications and synchronize selected folders.
- In the Notify of new messages field, select one of the following options for each folder:
- Sync and notify me — the folder syncs in the background and you receive new email notifications.
- Sync without notification — the folder syncs in the background and you don't receive new email notifications.
- Do not sync — the folder syncs only if you open it.Attention. When you disable email uploads, notifications are disabled as well. You can't disable email uploads and enable notifications at the same time.
- The app isn't running in background mode

You don't receive notifications if background mode is disabled for Yandex.Mail in your phone settings. Go to your phone settings and make sure that this option is enabled. If it's not, enable it.
- The app doesn't launch automatically when you turn on your phone
- You don't receive notifications if autorun is disabled for Yandex.Mail in your phone settings, Go to your phone settings and make sure that autorun is enabled. If it's not, enable it.
- Power-saving mode is enabled

Power-saving mode usually blocks notifications. Go to your phone settings and make sure that power-saving mode is disabled. If it's not, disable it.
It's also possible that the power-saving mode turns on automatically when your battery is low.
- A power-saving or speed booster app is installed

Apps that help extend battery life or speed up your phone might impact notifications. For example, the CM Locker app uses a feature that restricts all notifications on the phone. Make sure that such apps aren't installed on your phone, otherwise delete them.
Other mailbox settings
Other mailbox settings can be changed only in the Yandex.Mail web interface.
