# Notifications

Yandex services use push notifications to send helpful messages, such as weather warnings, traffic data.

## Enable or disable notifications {#setpush}

To set up notifications:

   On the home screen, tap ![](../_assets/profile-icon.png) (profile picture).

1. Tap **App settings** → **Push notifications**.
1. Switch off the notifications you don't want to receive.


## Problems with notifications {#nopush}

To receive notifications, allow them in your device system settings and in the app settings.

  1. В настройках устройства откройте **Приложения и уведомления**&nbsp;→ **Уведомления**&nbsp;→ **Показать все приложения**&nbsp;→ **Яндекс**.
  1. Выберите тип уведомления, например, о погоде, и нажмите **Оповещение**.
  1. Повторите действие для всех нужных вам типов.


- iOS

  В настройках устройства перейдите в раздел **Уведомления**. Найдите приложение Яндекс и включите опцию **Звук**.
