Image search

This feature works only if you're connected to the internet.
Visual search is a new way to search for information. You don't have to enter a search query: just point your camera at an object, and the system will return information about it. For example, take a picture of an apple, and the Smart Camera will tell you how many calories it contains. Take a picture of a car learn its characteristics and fuel consumption. Image search uses Yandex computer vision algorithms.

Allow Yandex app to access your camera and files in the device settings.
- On the home screen, tap SmartBox in the
. Smart camera opens. - Point your camera at an object or choose an image from your device's gallery. If the app recognizes the object, it'll mark it with purple dots.
- Tap the purple dot to see information about the object and similar images. The app will also suggest resources about the object on the internet. Tap Products in the picture, and the Smart camera will provide links to stores that sell those products.
