Build a route
Route
There are two ways to set a route:
-
Fill in the “From” and “To” fields
Specify your start and destination stations.
Tap the From or To fields and view suggested stations from the list of your recent routes, your Favorites, frequently used stations, and the stations closest to your location.
Start entering the station name, and the drop-down list will display the stations that match the combination of letters you've entered.
-
Select the start and destination stations on the map
Select your start and destination stations on the map.
If the option Settings → Select stations by tapping is:
- off — after tapping on the station name, the From and To buttons will appear. Tap the station name, then one of the buttons.
-
- on — the station is added to the “From” or “To” field immediately after tapping its name on the map.
Alternative routes
The fastest route is displayed on the map and the route card at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe the route card to the left to see alternative routes (with more transfers or longer). The map displays the route from the card.
Travel time and cars
Tap on the route card to see detailed information about the route:
Travel time
The estimated travel time includes the time between metro stations and transfers between lines. It doesn't include the time spent on the escalators at your start and destination stations.
Arrival time
This is the time when the user should get to the destination station.
It's calculated based on the estimated travel time from the current moment as departure time.
Stations, transfers, and convenient cars
The train on the diagram is directed from right to left. The cars of the train you should board to reduce the time for transfer are highlit.
Show exits and map
Tap the buttonnext to the station name to view the station card: map of local area, exits, information about closed stations and opening times.
