# Manage saved places
You can add important locations to saved places to find them quickly on the map.
Your saved places have two default points that are used to plot routes: **Home** and **Work**. These points are marked on the map with  and .
You can create [lists](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/favourites-and-lists.md) of your saved places.
To create and edit your saved places from any device, [log in](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/auth.md) to the app.
## Save a place {#add}
1. [Open](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/objects.md#open-card) the organization or place card.
1. Tap .
1. Select one or more lists or [create](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/favourites-and-lists.md#create-a-list) a new one.
1. If you need to, fill in the box **Add a comment about this place** and tap **Save**.
1. Tap **Done**.
## Add a comment to a saved place {#comment}
1. On the home screen, tap .
1. Select a list.
1. Fill in the box **Add a comment about this place** next to the place.
1. Tap **Save** or **Done**.
Your comment will appear in the object card. Besides you, no one will be able to see it. If you [share the saved places list](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/favourites-and-lists.md#share-a-list) with other users, they will be able to see the comment too.

To delete a comment, delete the text in the box and tap **Save** or **Done**.
## Add your home and work addresses {#home-and-work}
1. On the home screen, tap .
1. Tap **Add** next to **Home** or **Work**.
1. Select a point on the map and tap **Done**.

1. Select **Enter a different address**.
1. Select a point on the map and tap **Done**.

## Find a saved place {#search}
1. On the home screen, tap .
1. Start typing a saved place name in the search bar. Select the place from the drop-down list.
You can also find a saved place using the general [search](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/object-search.md).
## Edit a name {#rename}
If you added a place card to your saved places, you can edit the saved place name:
1. On the home screen, tap .
1. Select a list.
1. Tap to the right of the saved place.
1. Select **Rename**.
1. Enter a new name and tap **Save** or **Done**.
## Move a saved place to a different list {#another-list}
1. On the home screen, tap .
1. Select a list.
1. Tap to the right of the saved place.
1. Tap **Move to different list**.
1. Select the list where you want to move the saved place or [create](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/favourites-and-lists.md#create-a-list) a new one. You can add a saved place to multiple lists.
## View saved places on the map {#viewing}
You can view saved places from one or more lists on the map. To customize the display of saved places, follow the instructions in [Manage Favorites and lists of saved places](https://yandex.com/support/m-maps/en/favourites-and-lists.md#listview).
## Remove a saved place {#delete}

- From the menu
1. On the home screen, tap .
1. Select a list.
1. Tap to the right of the saved place.
1. Select **Remove from list**.
- From an object card
1. Open the object card and tap .
1. If the saved place is in several lists, select the lists you want to remove it from and then tap **Done**.

The saved place will be permanently deleted.
