Getting started with the interface
Buttons on the home screen
You can use the home screen buttons to:

Go to the app menu. If you're signed in, your profile picture is displayed instead of the menu button. |

|
Enable layers: traffic, parking, Saved places. |
|
|
View traffic on the map. |
|
|
View parking spaces on the map. Active if the parking layer is enabled. |
|
|
Zoom in. |
|
|
Zoom out. |
|
|
Go to your location. |
|
|
Go to Favorites. The button appears if Transport mode is enabled. |

|
Plot a route between points. |
|
|
View public transport on the map. |
|
|
Enable Navigator mode. |
|
|
Call a taxi. |
|
|
The button appears when you zoom in on the map. |
|
|
Enable 2D mode. The button appears when you tap . |
App menu
In the app menu, you can:

Go to the app settings.

Configure offline maps.

Contact support.

View your parking settings and history.

Go to map editing.

Share impressions of the places you've visited:
- View your subscriptions and subscribers and find out how your reviews resonate with other users.
- Check the Local Expert tab to see the achievements you earned by submitting reviews.
- Rate the places you visited and write reviews in the Impressions tab. These ratings and reviews help other people make the right choice, and they also help us improve Yandex Maps.
- View the photos of places that you uploaded in the Photos tab.
- View your reviews in the Reviews tab.
