Current location

If you allow the service to detect your location, then that information will be used to set your routes, display traffic, and search for places.

The first time you tap My location , the map displays your current location in the center ─ .

Tap on it to see your exact address and point coordinates.

The button changes color:

If your location was not accurately determined, then the icon will display against a dark circular backdrop. The bigger the circle, the less precise your location is.

When you tap My location a second time, the map will orient so that the direction your device is facing corresponds to going forward on the map. The button changes its appearance:

The third time you tap it, the map orients so that north is up.

You can also change the map orientation by tapping the Compass.
