Place card

Information about the place can be found on its card.

There are two ways to open a place card:

On the map

Tap and hold a point on the map to open the context menu. Select What's here? The point is marked with an icon (the picture in the center of the icon depends on the place type):

In the search results

Tap on the placemark on the map or choose a location from the search results. The place will be marked, too.

The building's entrance location will be shown with a red arrow: .

Cards open in minimized form. To expand the card, swipe it up.

To close the card, tap any point on the map or tap (Close).

The contents of a public transport stop card differ from cards for other types of transport.

Organization card

Place cards contain different components depending on the type of place.

Organizations have the most detailed place cards.

  • Place name.

  • Directions (showing travel times on public transport). Tap the button to set the route to your destination.

  • — place rating (from 0 to 5) based on user ratings and reviews as well as performance ratings. You can add your own rating (by tapping the corresponding star icon in the rating bar) and review:
    1. Tap on the rating bar.
    2. In the “Know this place?” field that opens, tap Yes.
    3. In the form that opens, tap one of the buttons:

      — to add a positive review for the place.

      — to add a negative review.

    4. You can also tap the Write review button below to write your own review of the place.

    Place reviews are displayed in place cards below.

  • Item address.

  • If a given place is located in a city that has a metro (subway, underground), then the place card includes a list of the closest stations and how far away they are.

  • Hours of operation on the current day.

  • Call. Tap this button to call the number listed for that place.

  • Save. Tap this button to save a place to your Favorites.

  • Site. Tap this button to go to the place's website.

  • () Share. Tap this button to share a link to the place in social networks, emails, etc.

  • Panoramas. Tap on a panorama fragment to view the panorama (available if the place has panoramas).
  • Photos. Tap on the photo fragment that indicates how many photos there are (for example, 5 photos) to view the photos (if there are photos associated with that place).

  • Add photo. Tap this button to add a photo of a place.
    Note. To do that, you need to sign in to Yandex.
  • More . Tap on the arrow to expand the list of additional information about that place (its schedule, important details like whether or not credit cards are accepted, etc.).

  • . Tap this button to leave a review (only one per place).

    You can edit or delete your review. Just tap it and choose one of these options: Edit, Delete, or Cancel.

    Note. To leave a review or rate an organization, you need to sign in to Yandex.
  • Reviews. You can read other users' reviews of the place you selected.

    Place cards contain several reviews, each of which has a link to the full text.

    Tap on the more reviews link to view the entire list of available reviews.

    Tap Write review to add your review of a place.

  • . Tap the button and in the form that opens write what exactly needs to be edited. For more details, see Edit information.

  • Add organization. Tap this button and in the form that opens specify details of a new organization. For more information, see Add an organization.

    Note. You need to sign in to Yandex in order to send your suggestions to our support staff.

Transport stop cards

Tap the icon for the appropriate stop and select What's here? in the context menu. A card with public transport stops opens that contains the following:

  • Names of stops.

  • Distance to place from current location:.

  • Time to get to a stop (on the button).

    Tap this button to set a route from your current location to a stop on the route.

  • Icons for types of transport that stop there (buses, mini buses, etc.), including route numbers:

Tap on the card to expand it.

In the expanded view, a list of routes with forecasted arrival times and intervals between stops according to the schedule for transport services is displayed.
