Place card

Information about the place can be found on its card.

There are two ways to open a place card:

On the map

Tap and hold a point on the map to open the context menu. Select What's here? The point is marked with the icon (the picture in the center of the icon depends on the type of the place):

In search results

Tap the placemark on the map or choose the place in search results. The place will be marked as well.

The right entrance to the building is shown with a red arrow: .

Cards open in minimized form. To expand the card, swipe it up.

To close the card, tap any point on the map or tap (Close).

The contents of a public transport stop card differ from cards for other types of transport.

Organization card

Place cards contain different components depending on the type of place.

Organizations have the most detailed place cards. They include the following:

  • Place name and category.

  • Opening hours on the current day.
  • Directions (travel times on personal transport or on foot). Tap the button to select the travel method and plot a route to your destination.

  • — The place's rating (from 0 to 5), which is based on user ratings and reviews as well as performance ratings. You can add your own rating and review:
    1. In the “Know this place?” field, tap Yes.
    2. In the form that opens, tap the appropriate star.
    3. Here you can also add your review of the place.
    4. Tap Send.

    Reviews are displayed in the lower part of the place card.

  • Photos. Tap on a photo to view photos of the place (if it has any).
  • Add a photo. Tap this button to add a photo of the place.
    Note. To do that, you need to log in to Yandex.
  • The address.

  • If a given place is located in a city that has a metro (subway, underground), then the place card includes a list of the closest stations and how far away they are.

  • Panorama. Tap on a panorama fragment to view the panorama (available if the place has panoramas).
  • More. Tap on the arrow to expand the list of additional information about the place (its schedule and important details like whether credit cards are accepted).
  • Edit information. Tap the button and write what exactly needs to be edited in the form that opens. For more details, see Edit information.

  • Feedback form. Tap the stars in the “Been here? Write a review” field.

    You can edit or delete your review. Just tap it and choose one of these options: Edit, Delete, or Cancel.

    Note. To leave a review or rate an organization, you need to sign in to Yandex.
  • Reviews. You can read other users' reviews of the place you selected.

    A place card contains several reviews, and each review includes a reference to its full version.

    Tap View all ... reviews to view the entire list of available reviews.

    Tap Write review to add your review of a place.

  • Add an organization. Tap this button and in the form that opens specify details of a new organization. For more information, see Add an organization.

    Note. You need to log in to Yandex to send your suggestions to our support staff.
The lower panel of the place card displays the following:
  • Route. Tap this button to plot a route to your destination.
  • Call. Tap this button to call the number listed for that place.

  • () Share. Tap this button to share a link to the place on social media, via email, and other means of communication.
  • Save. Tap this button to save a place to your Favorites. The button color changes to yellow (). To remove a place from your favorites, tap Delete in the place card.

  • Site. Tap this button to visit the place's website.

Public transport stop cards

Tap the icon of a stop

This opens the public transport stop card, which contains the following elements:

  • Names of stops.

  • Distance to the stop from the current location. Tap on the distance to plot a route from your current location to the stop.

  • Icons of different transport modes that stop here (buses, mini buses, and others), with their respective numbers:

  • Save to My transport button. Tap it to save a stop to your My transport list. The button color changes to yellow ().

    To remove a stop from the My transport list, tap Delete in the stop card.

Tap the card to expand it.

In expanded view, the card displays the following:
  • A list of routes with forecasted arrival times and scheduled intervals.
  • Panorama. Tap on a panorama fragment to view the panorama (available if the place has panoramas).
The lower panel of the stop card displays the following buttons:
  • Route. Tap this button to plot a route to the stop.
  • Transport on the map. Tap this button to see moving transport. To return to the list of routes with the arrival forecast, tap Arrival forecast.

Public transport route cards

  1. Tap Moving transport on the homepage.
  2. Tap the vehicle icon for the desired route .
  3. The selected route shows up on the map. At the same time, a route card opens that contains the following:
    • Route name.
    • Names of final stops on the route.
    • Information about the number of stops on the route.
    • Save to My transport button. Tap it to save a route to your My transport list. The button color changes to yellow: .

      To remove a route from the My transport list, tap Delete in the route card.

    Swipe the card up to open the route map with all stops.
