Dealing with spam

I'm getting spam in my inbox

If you get an email you think is spam in your Inbox, please let us know by tapping the icon at the bottom of the email page. This will adjust the spam filter in place for your mailbox. Sometimes you will have to repeat this process a few times for certain types of unwanted mail. You can read more about what Yandex.Mail does to deal with spam in Yandex.Mail Help.

To mark several emails as spam, you need to:

  1. Tap the button above the list of emails and highlight the right ones.
  2. Tap This is spam! in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

Emails that go directly to your Spam folder are automatically deleted after ten days. If an email is sent to your Spam folder accidentally, tap Not spam! so that new emails from that sender will be sent to your Inbox.

Unsubscribing from unwanted mailing lists

Usually, emails sent from a mailing list include information on how to unsubscribe. Generally speaking, you can unsubscribe on their site or by contacting its administration.

You can also add the addresses sending you unwanted mass emails to your black list in the full version of Yandex.Mail.

Note. To switch to the full version of Yandex.Mail, tap the button in the upper left-hand corner of the page, and on the next page tap Full version. To go back to the mobile version, tap Light version at the bottom of the page.
