Dealing with spam

I'm getting spam in my inbox

If you get an email you think is spam in your Inbox, please let us know by tapping the button labeled Spam. This will adjust the spam filter in place for your mailbox. Sometimes you will have to repeat this process a few times for certain types of unwanted mail. You can read more about what Yandex.Mail does to deal with spam in Yandex.Mail Help.

Here's what you need to do to mark an email as spam:

  1. Open the email.
  2. Tap MoreSpam.

That email will be left in your Spam folder for ten days before being automatically deleted. If an email ends up in the Spam folder by mistake, select it and tap MoreNot Spam and future emails from that sender will be directed to your Inbox.

Unsubscribing from unwanted mailing lists

Usually, emails sent from a mailing list include information on how to unsubscribe. Generally speaking, you can unsubscribe on their site or by contacting its administration.

You can also add the addresses sending you unwanted mass emails to your black list in the full version of Yandex.Mail.
