Payment with a family card

All of the members of a family account can pay for purchases in Yandex services with a bank card linked to the account by its administrator.

Attention. To pay with a family card, a phone number must be linked to the Yandex ID.
  1. Select a family card
  2. Set a limit for a family member
  3. Prohibit the use of the card
  4. Configure where to pay with the card
  5. Pay with the card
  6. View payment history
  7. Disable a family card

Select a family card

  1. On the Family tab, click Enable family card and select a card from the list.

    If no card is linked to the Yandex ID, or if you want to add a new card, select Add bank card. Enter the card details and click Link.
  2. Enter the confirmation code from the SMS.

    We hold a small amount (up to ₽11) on your account to check if your card is valid. The money isn't deducted and becomes available again after the check is finished.

Set a limit for a family member

  1. On the Family tab, click Manage your card and limits.
  2. Click Limits.
  3. Select a member of the family account.
  4. Specify the limit in the desired currency and the period to set the limit for.
  5. Click Save.
Note. Yandex Drive fines and compensation are deducted from the family card in full even if they exceed the limit set for the user.

Prohibit the use of the card

  1. On the Family tab, click Manage your card and limits.
  2. Click Limits.
  3. Select a member of the family account.
  4. Disable the Card available option.
  5. Click Save.

Configure where to pay with the card

  1. On the Family tab, click Manage your card and limits.
  2. Click Limits.
  3. Select a member of the family account.
  4. Click Choose platforms and select the services from the list.
  5. Click Save.
Restriction. Members won't be able to pay with a family card for subscriptions to services like Yandex Plus or Yandex 360.

Pay with the card

To pay for a purchase with a card linked to the family group, select Family card in the Payment details block when making a purchase.

The buyer and the family account administrator will receive a purchase notification on their phone.

View payment history

Each member of the family account can view the history of their payments, and the administrator can view the payments of all members. You can do this on the Yandex Pay tab.

Disable a family card

  1. On the Family tab, click Manage your card and limits.
  2. Disable the Family card option.
