# Account verification
Accounts with a blue confirmation icon next to their names are verified accounts of famous people.

## Change your display name {#change-public-name}
Users with verified accounts can't change their display name themselves. If you have a confirmed account and want to change your display name, please contact the support service using the form below. Please note that after you change your display name, verification will be revoked and the blue icon of the verified account will disappear.
## Remove verified status {#give-up-status}
You can remove your verified account status and lift all related restrictions at any time. To do this, contact the support team using the form below.
