# Migrate accounts between devices

You can set up the Yandex ID (Key) app on multiple phones at the same time.

1. [Create](https://yandex.com/support/id/en/authorization/twofa-copy.md#create-backup) a backup of your data on the current device, if you haven't already.
1. Install the Yandex ID (Key) app on the new device.
1. [Restore your data](https://yandex.com/support/id/en/authorization/twofa-copy.md#reestablish-backup). Now you can use the app on both devices.

You can transfer accounts to a new device only if they include the secret keys for generating one-time passwords. These are the accounts stored in your backup. We recommend updating your backup every time you add a new account to the Yandex ID (Key) app.
