How to fill in the specifications

In addition to the general properties, the product has characteristics inherent in the specific category to which it belongs. For example, a bicycle has a frame size, and baby puree can be vegetable, meat or fruit.

Follow the Market prompts in each field to add the most useful and correct information.

• First of all, fill in the fields in the Key characteristics block. The information in it is most needed by customers to make a purchase decision.

• The Additional filter features block will help your product get into the search results using filters if the customer is looking for a specific product.

• Filled in the characteristics in the block Product details have less influence on the buyer's decision, but they are still significant to them and will make the product profile more useful.

In the cabinet, the characteristics can be changed on the product page.

To edit them via Excel file, you need to download the template:

Colors

What is the difference between the color for the filter and the color from the manufacturer?

When customers search for products, they specify the usual and understandable colors.

The color name from the manufacturer is the color declared by the manufacturer. It can be anything: "dark night", 008, space gray, and so on. It is displayed on the product card that the customer sees.

The color for the filter is a clear base color that people will use to find products. For example, black or green. It is best to choose a color for the filter from the list. If nothing fits at all, you can specify your own, but the name should not be unique, but understandable.

Characteristics with a limited list of values

Some values of these parameters must strictly correspond to the values from the list of categories on the Market, for example, Season. You can see the list in the category template. If you specify a value that is not from the list, it will not be saved. However, you can specify your own value for the Type parameter, and it will be displayed on the card.
