How to add products to Yandex Market
This section is about how to upload your assortment to the Market: add products, distribute them by sales models, set prices.
Tip
Some products can only be sold if there are a number of documents. Before adding such products, you need to upload these documents to the Market.

What information about the products will be needed
When you add an item to the Market, you will need to provide information about it. Prepare the information in advance, without which you will not be able to download the product:

Title |
Customers will see it. Make up the name according to the scheme: type + brand or manufacturer + model + features, if any (for example, color, size or weight). How to make a name |

Article number (SKU) |
You will need a unique identifier for each product. If the products already have IDs in your system, just use them. If there are no articles, make them yourself — for example, a combination of the article and the type of product is suitable. The article is constantly used in work: it is needed for all operations on goods and is displayed in reports. If you create identifiers yourself, make them convenient for yourself. Key and distinctive features |
The properties of the product that are inherent in its category, as well as distinguish different variants of the product within this category. Fill them out so that the product gets into the correct filters and interested buyers can see it. Learn more |

Weight and dimensions with packaging |
Weight and dimensions, taking into account the original packaging, if any. It is very important to specify the exact weight and dimensions: based on your data, the Market calculates how much you will pay for the delivery service. In addition, it will help the Market plan logistics: for example, how much space will be needed in the warehouse and whether the goods will fit in the warehouse. How to specify the weight and dimensions Keep track of the accuracy of the data If the actual weight of the goods packed for shipment in a transport package or the sum of its sides is at least 30% more than the packaging data on the card, you will have to pay a fine for this, and the Market will correct your data in the card. How to add product options
If you sell several versions of the same product (for example, identical mugs of different colors, phones with different memory capacities, contact lenses of different strengths, and so on), add each of the options to the catalog individually.
It will be possible to combine different options on one card later, after adding them to the catalog. How?
How to add a product
To start adding products to your Yandex.Market catalog, open the section in your account Products → Catalog and press the button Upload products. You will see that this can be done in several ways:

Set up integration with another platform
The market offers several tools that help automate and simplify the work with the catalog. For example, if you sell products on ozon.ru or wildberries.ru you can configure the integration — it can be started manually or automatically. How to do it

If there are many products — for example, dozens — it is long and inconvenient to add them one at a time. In this case, you can enter product data into a special Excel template and upload it to the Market in your account.

Составляйте название по схеме: тип + бренд или производитель + модель + особенности, если есть (например, цвет, размер или вес) и количество в упаковке.
Не включайте в название условия продажи (например, «скидка», «бесплатная доставка» и т. д.), эмоциональные характеристики («хит», «супер» и т. д.). Не пишите слова большими буквами — кроме устоявшихся названий брендов и моделей.

Составлять хорошие названия помогут рекомендации

Не давайте в описании инструкций по установке и сборке. Не используйте слова «скидка», «распродажа», «дешевый», «подарок» (кроме подарочных категорий), «бесплатно», «акция», «специальная цена», «новинка», «new», «аналог», «заказ», «хит». Не указывайте никакой контактной информации и не давайте ссылок.
Можно использовать теги:
<h>,<h1>,<h2>и так далее — для заголовков (так как уровни заголовков не поддерживаются, в описании все заголовки будут отображаться одинаково);<br>и<p>— для переноса строки;<ol>— для нумерованного списка;<ul>— для маркированного списка;<li>— для создания элементов списка (должен находиться внутри<ol>или<ul>);<div>— поддерживается, но не влияет на отображение текста.
Оптимальная длина — 400–600 символов, максимальная — 6000.
