Promotion types

  • Buy one, get one free

There are three steps to choosing a promotion:

Step 1. Choose the goal of the promotion

  • Increase revenue
  • Increase the average order amount
  • Advertise a new item to users

Step 2. Choose the promotion type

  • If the goal is to increase revenue, the best promotions are Buy one, get one free or Discount on full menu or select items
  • If the goal is to increase the average order amount, you should consider Free item
  • If the goal is to advertise a new item, we suggest using the Free item promotion with the new item or including it in Buy one, get one free

Step 3. Choose the items for the promotion

  • If the goal is to increase revenue, choose the most popular items with a good margin
  • If the goal is to increase the average order amount, you can use any items that enjoy strong demand
  • If the goal is to advertise a new item to users, use it in the promotion

Promotion item requirements

For promotions to be effective for you and appealing to users, the items and conditions must meet certain requirements:

Discount on full menu or certain items

  • At least three items from the restaurant's main menu are included
  • They can't include drinks, desserts, simple side dishes, sauces, or add-ons (they can only be added as extras to the main list)

Free item with minimum cart X K

  • X K required to receive a free item = average order amount + 10 K (can be a little less, but not more)
  • The regular price of the free item can be no less than 20% of X K
  • The free item is suitable for the majority of users
  • The free item can't be a drink, simple side dish, sauce, or add-on

Buy one, get one free

  • At least three items from the restaurant's main menu are included
  • The three main items can't include drinks, desserts, simple side dishes, sauces, or add-ons (they can only be added as extras to the main list)
  • There's no limit to the number of items that can be included in the promotion
