Working with orders

Orders are offered in the Orders section. This is where you can accept them or edit contents.

How to accept orders

A notification sound is played when a new order is offered. The section is also marked with a red dot.

To accept an order:

  1. Click the order to open the order information window.
  2. Click Accept order.

How to check courier location

Select the order and click Courier on the map. If a courier hasn't been assigned to the order yet, the card will show Looking for courier.

What to do if you can't prepare an item from the order

If you can't prepare part of an order, you can edit the contents with approval from the user. For example, offer to replace the item or cancel the order. To do this:

  1. Click image/svg+xmldotsdotsCreated with Sketch. and select Edit.
  2. Call the user at the number specified in the order information and get approval for any changes.
  3. Edit the order contents in your account.

What to do if you can't prepare orders in time

If you're falling behind on order preparation time, enable high demand mode.

This helps everyone:

  • You can increase preparation time and save orders
  • Couriers will arrive at the right time
  • Users will see their order's real preparation time

How to enable high demand mode in the Orders section

  1. In the Orders section, select the restaurant and click the lightning icon

  2. Choose how many minutes to increase preparation time and how long the new time will be in effect → Enable. After this period, preparation time will automatically return to the regular time

How to enable high demand mode in My restaurants

  1. In the My restaurants section, select the restaurant and click the lightning icon

  2. Choose how many minutes to increase preparation time and how long the new time will be in effect → Enable. After this period, preparation time will automatically return to the regular time

Alert

If the restaurant's average preparation time is 70 minutes, high demand mode will not be available.

The mode only works for orders accepted during a high demand period. You can extend it by following the instructions above, or reactivate the regular preparation time by clicking the lightning bolt icon. → Disable

What to do if you temporarily can't accept orders

If you can't accept orders temporarily, you can put the restaurant on pause.

  1. In the My restaurants section, select the restaurant → Disable
  2. Select the pause reason and for how long the restaurant will be unavailable for orders, and click Pause. After this interval, the restaurant will be reactivated automatically

Alert

Only pause a restaurant if absolutely necessary to avoid losing revenue.
