Preparation time

Every restaurant has an average preparation time, including time to prepare and pack orders. This number is calculated automatically, based on the restaurant's last 200 completed orders. The faster you prepare and change order preparedness statuses, the lower the time becomes, and vice versa.

For example, if your current preparation time is 30 minutes, but you regularly get orders ready faster, the time will gradually decrease to your actual preparation time.

Preparation time directly affects the restaurant's place in Yango Deli: the faster a restaurant prepares orders, the higher it is in the general list. To rise in the search results and get more orders, prepare orders faster.

There are two ways to improve preparation time:

1. Change order statuses on time

Click Order ready as soon as the order is prepared, checked, and packed, then click Order handed over right after giving the order to the courier.

2. Turn on high demand mode during peak demand

In the Orders section:

  1. In the Orders section, select the restaurant and click the lightning icon

  2. Choose how many minutes to increase preparation time and how long the new time will be in effect → Enable. After this period, preparation time will automatically return to the regular time

Or in the My restaurants section:

  3. In the My restaurants section, select the restaurant and click the lightning icon

  4. Choose how many minutes to increase preparation time and how long the new time will be in effect → Enable. After this period, preparation time will automatically return to the regular time

Alert

If the restaurant's average preparation time is 70 minutes, high demand mode will not be available.

The mode only works for orders accepted during a high demand period. You can extend it by following the instructions above, or reactivate the regular preparation time by clicking the lightning bolt icon. → Disable
