Mail for domain

Viewing the list of domains

On the My domains page, you can view a list of your domains and information for each of them:

  • status
  • number of mailboxes
  • logo

Logo

The logo specified for the domain is displayed in the mail UI for all users on your domain (it's shown in the upper-left corner).

Status

The domain can be assigned one of the following statuses:

  • “Domain is not confirmed” — The domain has been added to Yandex.Mail for Domain, but ownership hasn't been confirmed yet.

  • “Waiting for MX records configuration to complete” — You need to configure the MX record. In this case, the domain might be:

    • Delegated to Yandex servers, but the MX record isn't configured or is configured incorrectly.

      In this case, open the Yandex DNS editor on your domain's page and make sure that the correct MX record exists, is configured correctly, and isn't duplicated by another record.

      Note. 

      If you only want to use Yandex DNS hosting and you aren't planning to use Yandex.Mail for Domain, you don't need to configure the MX record.

    • Added and confirmed, but not delegated to Yandex servers.

      Configure the MX record on your DNS hosting company's website. To use Yandex.Mail for Domain, you need to create an MX record with the value “mx.yandex.net.”.

  • “Domain connected” – The domain is added and confirmed, it is not delegated to Yandex servers, and the MX record is configured correctly.

  • “Domain connected and delegated to Yandex” – The domain is added and delegated to Yandex servers, and the MX record is configured correctly.
