# Setting up in Linux

1. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click&nbsp;![](_images/linux-button.png).
1. Select the network which you want to set up Yandex DNS for, then click **Wired Connected**&nbsp;→ **Wired Settings** or **Wi-Fi**&nbsp;→ **Wi-Fi Settings**.

1. Click&nbsp;![](_images/settings-linux.png).
1. Go to the **IPv4** tab, then, under **IPv4 Method**, select **Automatic (DHCP)**.

1. Under **DNS**, disable **Automatic** and enter the IP addresses of the DNS servers that you [selected](https://yandex.com/support/dns/en/ya-dns-modes.md#ya-dns-ip).

1. Apply the changes and re-establish the connection.
