Problems with files
File won't download
First of all, ensure that your internet connection speed is sufficient to download files quickly. You can check the speed of your internet connection at yandex.com/internet.
Limits on intermediate servers that are used when you are on the internet can prevent files from downloading. Try disabling your proxy server if you have one. Antiviruses and firewalls can also slow down file downloads. Disable these as well and then try downloading the file again.
You'll also want to make sure that the problem isn't connected with your browser's functionality. See if switching browsers solves your problem.
If a shared file has been downloaded many times during a single day, the download limit may have been reached. Try downloading the public file in a day.
The download speed is very slow
Proxy servers and additional firewalls are the most common causes of slow download speeds. We recommend temporarily disabling them when downloading files.
There are also technical requirements which limit how quickly files can download from Yandex.Disk. When the size of public files downloaded from your Disk exceeds the volume of your Disk twice, then the download speed is limited to 64 Kbit/s. This restriction is set for one day, then the dowloads counter is reset. To avoid problems with downloading speed, use the Save to my Disk option on the file sharing page.
The total size of my files less than the space used on Disk
All the files you delete on the Disk website or from your Yandex.Disk folder on your computer will end up in your Trash. Their size is not displayed by the program, but they also take up space on Disk. After 30 days they will be automatically deleted. If you're running out of space, you can empty your Trash in advance.
