Sharing files and folders

  1. Upload a file or folder to Yandex.Disk.
  2. Share the link using one of the following methods:

    Share one file

    Slide the line with the object to the right or left and tap Share.

    Share multiple files

    Select the necessary files or folders and tap Share at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Choose how you want to send the link to a file or folder: in an email, via a messenger, or some other way.
Attention. If the file you share violates the Yandex.Disk Terms of Use (item 4.3), it may be blocked.

You can find the list of all files and folders you've shared on the Links page in the Yandex.Disk for web.

Configure shared access to a folder

You can't configure shared access to a folder in the mobile app yet. You can only share a link to a file or folder.

To configure shared access to a folder, use Yandex.Disk in the browser on a computer. Read more in Configure shared access to a folder.

If you are experiencing a problem with the Yandex.Disk app, please report the error using the feedback form in the app:

  1. Tap the profile picture in the upper-left corner.
  2. Select Help and support → Report an error.
  3. Select the relevant issue.
  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.
Note. Please report problems related to the mobile app from the app itself and not Help pages. This will ensure your message reaches the right specialists and is answered sooner. Additionally, when submitting from the app, our specialists get technical information that helps them sort out the problem.
