Downloading files

  1. Select the files you wish to download and tap  → Download.
  2. Select the folder you want to download the files to.

File won't download

Why this happens and how to fix it:

Public file downloads are restricted

If one public file was downloaded a lot in a day, the download may be restricted. The restriction lasts for 24 hours. The file becomes available for download at the end of this period. If you don't want to wait, save the file to your Yandex.Disk using the Save to Yandex.Disk button. To download public files without restrictions, sign up for Yandex 360.

Note. You can only download folders that contain fewer than 500 files or are not larger than 5 GB. If you want to download a larger folder, you can save it to your Yandex.Disk.
The internet connection slowed down

Check your internet connection speed at Disable other apps that use the internet and restart Yandex.Disk.

I downloaded a file and edited it, but the changes didn't sync

If you downloaded a file from Yandex.Disk on your phone and edited it, but the changes didn't sync automatically, it is because synchronisation is not available in the Yandex.Disk mobile app. In this case, you can only download and upload files manually. But you can enable unlimited photo and video auto-uploads.

  1. Open the app settings.
  2. Select Help and feedback → Report a problem
  3. Select the relevant issue.
  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

Additionally, when submitting from the app, our specialists get technical information that helps them sort out the problem.
