Finding files in Yandex.Disk

You can find files by their names, contents, extensions, or properties, as well as the names of the folders containing them. To do this, tap and enter a part of the name in the search bar.

The app will search through all your Yandex.Disk folders. For more information about search features, see Search Yandex.Disk.

Note. If you are not connected to the internet, the app will only search the folder that is currently open. Files in subfolders will not be found.

You can also find your file by sorting the list: tap in the upper-right corner to see the available options.

If you are experiencing a problem with the Yandex.Disk app, please report the error using the feedback form in the app:

  1. Open settings.
  2. Select Help and feedback → Report a problem
  3. Select the relevant issue.
  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.
Note. Please report problems related to the mobile app from the app itself and not these Help pages. This will ensure your message reaches the right specialists and is answered sooner. Additionally, when submitting from the app, our specialists get technical information that helps them sort out the problem.
